Why Sabre Hospitality Solutions?

In Simon Sineks Ted Talk “Start With Why,” he emphasizes that it is essential for a company to focus in on the “why” when they are developing their branding and company mission. At my company, Sabre Hospitality Solutions, I believe that we need to begin to focus more on the “why” so we can ensure that we are consistently up to date on incorporating the latest online marketing trends in the hotel industry and further excite our clients to continue to work with us. Sabre Hospitality Solutions “Why” is the following : Hotel’s are busy operations, open 24/7 and becoming temporary homes for people everyday. Hotel management has a lot on their daily plate and we at SHS are here to help them with a side they may not be as familiar with. Our team of internet marketing professionals will provide hotels with top of the line consultation on effective internet marketing strategies as well as insight into up to date trend while the hotels can focus on whats most important to them — the guest.

While I believe this is the companies true “why” for branding I am not necessarily sure this is how we are currently marketing ourselves to our clients. Personally, I do believe the company has relied too much on old habits and has not necessarily adapted to some of the newer marketing trends such as mobile, social media, and native advertising. I do however believe these are things we will eventually be forced to adapt to ad and start providing for our clients. One piece of marketing messaging that I think we should start incorporating is a monthly email blog to our clients to give some further insight into some of the latest trends in hotel marketing and share ideas of different successful marketing campaigns that we put together for other clients.

Overall, I believe we do offer hotels a unique product since many hotels do not want to spend the money to have an onsight marketing team. If we can focus in more on “why” we are offering this product to our clients and continue to consult them on the latest industry marketing trends, we should see an overall increase in customer satisfaction and continued growth.
