A popular way to pass time in the fall is by going to a pumpkin patch and participating in all the fun activities, such as going through a corn maze and petting animals in the farm. You might even see a pumpkin cannon. So, here are a few pumpkin patches near Milwaukee where you can pick out the perfect pumpkin!

Jim’s Pumpkin Farm

This cash-only farm is so much more than just a place to get a pumpkin. Once you are there, you can go through a 4.5-acre corn maze, stuff your own scarecrow and get a free hayride to the pumpkin patch. This is a perfect way to spend your weekend!

Schuette Farm

There are so many pumpkin sizes that you can get, but not all farms have giant pumpkins! The Schuette Farm has it all, plus other fun activities, like pumpkin launching.

Lindners Farm Pumpkin Patch

This location in New Belin is a wonderful place for the full pumpkin patch experience. Along with finding the perfect pumpkin, you can pet a llama, watch a scarecrow speedway pedal tractor race and tour a 1840’s log cabin.

Cedarburg Creek Farm

This family-owned farm offers you free admission to the farm and free hay wagon rides. You can walk right into the patch and pluck a pumpkin, then head to the barnyard petting zoo!

If you don’t have transportation to make it to any of these farms, don’t worry because there are plenty of places in Milwaukee that you can select your own pumpkin. Just take a stroll down Downer Ave. towards Café Hollander. Right across the street at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a bunch of pumpkins!

It doesn’t matter where you get your pumpkin from — what matters the most is that you have fun doing it. When you get done carving, painting or baking your pumpkin, make sure to tag us in a picture, Panthers!
