Announcing our UX Camp Workshop: Lettering with Jenna Carando

Expand your skills, explore a new medium and get excited for our scheduled workshop at UX Camp California with the talented Jenna Carando!

Jenna is a letterer and designer based in San Francisco. She is currently designing and lettering for the Brand Design Team at Gusto, a company focused on reimagining HR. An avid explorer, hiker and outdoorswoman, Jenna’s work in and out of the office is influenced by her love of adventure, so we’re thrilled to have Jenna joining us at camp where she’ll share her passion for art, design and typography while educating us on the art of lettering. In her Intro to Lettering Workshop, she’ll cover basic terminology, lettering styles, and steps for creating lettering compositions. We’ll deconstruct some examples together and then get into sketching our own pieces! You’ll walk away with lettering resources and a solid foundation of lettering knowledge that you can apply to your own future work. **Feel free to bring a drawing tablet (iPad/Wacom/etc) if you’d like to sketch digitally, but tablets are NOT REQUIRED.
