Nupinion is a website which includes news articles from multiple sources into one space allowing users to get a well rounded opinion on major news issues.

The target audience of this website is for people who like stay up to date with the news and want to hear lots of opinions on the same topic. These type of people care a lot about what is happening in the world and they should care about this website as it helps them to understand things in depth. It helps break people that have a closed minded opinion on a topic and rather gives them a more open and stronger opinion as they have access to different perspectives on the same issue.

On the website they allow users to search about news related topics such as Donald Trump and British elections etc.. They show 3 perspectives of news by locating left wing news on the left, neutral opinionated news in the centre and right wings news on the right. The website is very organised and allows users to pick and choose what type of news they want to read and shows the news website link as well so people know which news outlets they are coming from. This gives users full control of what type of news they want to read and I feel Nupinion were able to deliver this control very well.

I have realised that a lot of the buttons do not work on their website but it could be because it is a new website. I would change the typography as it makes the screen look like it’s got more text than it does as it is all the same text type. Here is the main screen and you can see that all the text is in the same font type which makes it look heavy texted.

Another change I would change is the sizes of videos they put on their website. The videos take up more of the screen which is not needed. Here is an example of where this has happened.

Overall I like the idea of this website and I would definitely use it to find out different peoples opinions on news I am interested in such as the British Elections.
