Great team is a great achievement— Step 1

In order for your product to prosper, you must figure out how to build a great team that works well together. That can be a difficult task. After all, creating a great team means bringing together people with different skill sets and varied personalities to work towards a goal that you want to achieve.

I’ve been thinking that the first batch of people I want in my team are going to be All in one, meaning they are broad in a bunch of different areas and deep in a particular one which helps team working in right direction and can help each other when one stuck somewhere.

Before you build a team understand these 5 points whether your team..

  1. Share the same value and vision
  2. Believe in team work
  3. Share a sense of commitment
  4. Not greedy
  5. Make congruent decisions and remain united
Building a team is more of like building a family as you will be sharing all good and bad with them, so trust and loyalty is what you have to earn for each other.

Then find these 4 minded people

  1. A Visionary (Like Me :))
Whether it’s selling the idea to investors, or pitching your product to customers, the visionary’s role is integral to the success of any company.
  2. A Designer (Again myself)
Someone who can get your vision to life ( without heart :P)
  3. A Technical Lead (Biplove Sharma)
A one who knows how to make every element dance
  4. A Social Brat (Sonika Sharma)
This will be one who will get your product in market and help you get people on board.

I am not sure if this role is consistent to every industry but these people are must have..

and at the end as Apple’s Steve Jobs said, “My model for business is The Beatles. They were four guys who … balanced each other and the total was greater than the sum of the parts. That’s how I see business: great things in business are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people.”

So now its time to take second step towards the journey and let me tell you it makes me more excited than nervous. I have never felt so challenging.

Lets share this journey together..
