About Me

At my core, I am a person who loves to help other people solve their problems. That is my mission statement, and I seek work that allows me to fulfill it. This is evident in my experience teaching, selling, and designing.
I love to create, both digitally and physically. I love to learn. If you look at my recommended videos on YouTube, you’ll see a combination of project tutorials and fail videos — because failure is part of success (not to mention how entertaining those videos are). I bring a strong work ethic, a talent for understanding people, and a belief that you can learn anything you truly want to if you put in the effort.
I got into UX because of my interest in entrepreneurship, in particular SaaS startups (Google Dane Maxwell if you want to learn about an exciting approach to entrepreneurship).
UX is at the perfect intersection of business, creativity, and communication, which is where I have lived over the last few years. I have experience both in a high-growth startup environment, as well as in a large established corporation. I have developed skills in presenting software to business owners and management, training, instruction, team leadership, and design.
