Imagine you need to use a machine, let’s say it’s a ATM. But as you approach, you notice that the screen is dark and there’s a note glued upon the keyboard. And it says:

Worst case (except when there’s no note at all), raises lots of questions.

or it says:

Better than first. Gives a feeling of something going on, but is not answering all questions.
