This guide will walk you through submitting an article to UX Bonfire, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Everyone can be an author if they have an idea, knowledge even experience to share. Both are welcome, whether you are a beginning writer or a seasoned writer.

Which platform does UX Bonfire use to publish articles?

UX Bonfire utilizes Medium as the platform for publishing articles. We have integrated Medium with our website to streamline the publication process. If you do not already have a Medium account, please create one before you begin writing for us.

What are we looking for?

We put our readers first. Therefore, we want to create an article that brings value.

  • Word count: 1,000–2,500 words, but we are open to longer articles when the topic requires it.
  • Relevant: We focus on publishing content related to Web3 UX. This can include opinions, tips, research, design, case studies, product insights, and any other topics related to Web3 UX.
  • Original: We only accept original content that has not been published elsewhere. Your submission should be authentic and unique to our publication.
  • Not promotional: Our objective is to share knowledge and insights with our readers. We do not accept articles that are promotional in nature or attempt to sell products or services.
  • Only stories written by humans: We value the human element in our articles. Therefore, we do not accept articles generated by AI tools like Chat GPT. Please provide a disclaimer if any portion of your content was produced using artificial intelligence.

Step to submit my article

Step 1: Familiarize yourself with our guidelines

Step 2: Choose an engaging topic

Find inspiration online around the topic that you are interested in. Focus on providing valuable insights or actionable advice. Remember to include proper references for any sources you use.

Step 3: Write your article

To begin writing your article, please ensure that you have a Medium account. If you don’t already have one, sign up for an account on Medium’s website.

Once you set up your account, click “📝Write” to begin writing. Your Medium account will serve as the platform for drafting and publishing your article with UX Bonfire.

Step 6: Submit your article to UX Bonfire

When your article is complete and has been proofread, submit it to UX Bonfire publication. Email either the article draft link or the published article link to ashley@uxboost.com. Along with the submission, provide a brief description of your article and suggest a related discussion topic.
