One day at my office, my fellow designer was looking for inspiration for App update notifications. Suddenly we came across this Whatsapp app update notification.
After that, we started role-playing, with Whatsapp acting as a bot, and how it would have interacted with the user accordingly.
Broken bones ;) Whatsapp needs to be updated!

Conclusion:
Empathize with your users and their situation before designing the micro-copy. Don’t make it sound robotic, make it human.
