I was inspired by Zara’s website design. It’s clean and simple, but most importantly, easy to navigate. On the first page, I placed the menu on the side with the arrows indicating that each set of product categories includes a subset and will appear when clicking on the arrow. In order to increase customer engagement, I included a “Style with” section. This gives the customer a more complete view on their possible look. I also included the “view cart” next to the “style with” that way the customer has to see the “style with”.

The second page is designed to be the next page after you click on “view cart”. It gives you a good clear image of the items you have in your cart. I did want the customer to be able to save their information and it is located off to the side of their cart to make it easy and simple to read that way the customer doesn’t have to scroll down. The customer has the simple “pay now” button to decrease having to go to another page.

Visiting the Homeaway office, they mentioned wanting to decrease tension between having to visit multiple pages and wanted to create the process that was simple and would also decrease the number of pages it would take to pay.
