Human-centric

The core proficiencies found in modern product, service, and experience designers hinge from a problem-solving, human-centric framework — one which integrates the humanities as an embedded source of focus and purpose. It is here where we find meaning — extracting the full extent of humanness — the most prolific and attuned experiences imaginable. This is the height of humanity — a place where we can thrive day in and day out-enriching the life source of all the world.

Research-led design

In 2019, design must be coupled with research. To this end, we might choose to rethink our title. Perhaps the title of Human-Experience (HX) Detective is more fitting to the work we are engaged in? A core fundamental skill set requires us to leverage the true nature of the people we are designing for — gaining actionable insights to leverage as we design for new experiences.

Systems “Doing” mindset

As modern day detectives, our ability to unilaterally consider the systems view of both macro and micro is an invaluable mindset to cultivate. The underpinnings here providenamd incredible frame of view for moving into complex challenges.
