9. ConveyUX Boston

When: August 16, 2019

For the past seven years, the ConveyUX conference has been the premier conference in the Pacific Northwest for user experience practitioners. 10. UX STRAT USA

12. Usability Professionals 2019

When: 8–11 September 2019

Where: Hamburg, Germany

Why: The Usability Professionals is the practice-oriented part of the annually Mensch und Computer conference organized by the German UPA. With more than 700 participants in the past, the Mensch und Computer alias MuC is one of the largest German-speaking IT conferences and the largest HCI conference in Europe. The main scope of this conference is to connect people from IT as well as design, psychology, etc., and keep in touch with the latest trends in the field of HCI, interface design and UX.

13. FlUXible 2019 — Canada’s UX Festival

When: 16–22 September 2019

Where: Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario Canada

Why: A full week of user experience goodness including meetups, workshops, and two days of the conference.

14. Design Matters 19

When: 18–19 September 2019

Where: Copenhagen, Denmark

Why: 2000+ Attendees! At UXDX, we are committed to helping teams shorten the time to product success. Within two stages over two days, UXDX brings designers, developers, and product managers together centered around a new agile delivery model on outcome-driven development. The main UXDX conf is now going into its 4th year in The RDS, Dublin. With 1,500 people attending from all over the world, making it one of the largest product events in Europe and the fastest-growing product event in the world.

18. UX Poland

When: 9–11 October 2019

Where: Warsaw, Poland

Why: UX Poland — one of the biggest UX conferences in Europe. Today marks ten years since a group of passionate innovators blazed the trail for the development of User Experience in Poland. We source the knowledge from the founding fathers of UX and combine it with the experience of young practitioners. 19. Canvas Conference

When: 10 October 2019

Where: Birmingham, England

Why: Canvas is a 1-day digital product and user experience conference, all about exploring the insider stories behind the world’s most interesting products and services. The day will provide insights directly from the people involved in building those products, from a very cross-discipline point of view (tackling problems of UX /engineering/design/business).

20. Midwest UX Conference 2019

When: 10–12 October 2019

Where: Grand Rapids, Michigan United States

Why: Midwest UX (MWUX) is the must-attend conference of the user experience community. Now entering its eighth year, the annual traveling conference draws over 500 attendees from across the region. Chicago was selected through a competitive bid, vying against other applicant cities for the chance to host speakers and attendees from across the country and around the world to discuss human-centered design.

21. World Usability Congress 2019

When: 15–17 October 2019

Where: Graz, Styria Austria

Why: The World Usability Congress is an international premier user experience design conference. Two days of conference presentations provide practical skills to take away, inspire you for your next projects, stretch your knowledge, or show how someone has tackled a problem just like the one you’re facing.

22. Push Conference

When: 24–25 October 2019

Where: Munich, Germany

Why: Push UX is a lovingly crafted platform for hands-on design professionals and creative technologists. PUSH UX unites professionals that aim to create compelling interactive experiences in the shape of products, apps, websites and installations, inspired by user needs and enabled by creative use of technology and critical thinking.

23. CanUX 2019

When: October 31 — November 3, 2019

Where: Ottawa, Canada

Why: Canada’s premier annual UX event. 10th edition. We are the longest-running and largest annual experience design event in Canada and are constantly looking for ways to create one of the most inclusive, affordable, world-class UX conferences.

24. UX Design & Usability Conference

When: 5–7 November 2019

Where: Sofia, Bulgaria

Why: UX Sofia started in 2011 and since then growing bigger and bigger. Today it is the best conference to share user experience in Bulgaria. Join the event to learn how user experience influences machine intelligence, about UX and SEO, metrics, measurement and return on investment, etc.

25. The UX LIVE Conference 2019

When: 11–13 November 2019

Where: London, Great Britain

Why: UX LIVE 2019 presents three days of practical, actionable insights into the UX methodologies and best practices employed by some of the world’s leading researchers and designers. Spanning user research, product & service design, emerging technologies, and design leadership. UX Live offers multiple talk tracks, panel discussions, and a full day of workshops. 26. Mobile UX London (MUXL) 2019 Conference

When: 21 November 2019

Where: London, England Great Britain

27. User Experience Hong Kong

When: 21–22 February 2020

Where: Hong Kong, China

Why: User Experience Hong Kong (UXHK), founded in 2011, is an annual learning event dedicated to bringing all product and service design disciplines together, from research, marketing, design, technology and the business to name a few, who are interested and passionate about designing great experiences for people and business for a better world for all.

28. ConveyUX

When: 3–5 March 2020

Where: Seattle, USA

Why: ConveyUX is a Seattle-based event designed for practitioners of interaction and visual design, user research, and content strategy. Produced by Blink, the eighth annual event takes place March 3–5 in downtown Seattle at The Westin. ConveyUX is a Pacific Northwest showcase for UX. The upcoming program will feature 40 great speakers presenting over 50 educational sessions through three full days.

29. UXLx

When: Lisbon, Portugal

Where: May 2020

Why: UXLx is a unique four-day User Experience event set in sunny Lisbon, Portugal on May 2020. A premier event for User Experience Professionals, Designers, Information Architects, and Usability Practitioners, UXLx will bring together 500 professionals from around the world. Coupled with a set of world-renowned speakers, all of them published authors and leading experts in their fields, UXLx is the largest event of its kind in Europe, having attracted in past editions attendees from almost 40 countries all around the world.

30. UX London

When: May 2020

Where: London, UK
