Platform Objectives Enabling Stellar User Experience

Bhaskar has been contributing to design intervention in the domain of Fin-tech in India though Strategy & UX design services. The Asset Management Company (AMC) has been constantly innovating their e-business by offering simplified user-friendly investment platforms. Being first and one of its kind their offering on “E-KYC via Aadhaar” has resolved serious end-users pain point while on-boarding.

Gone are the days filling up & signing multiple bunches of forms, submitting hard copies of your documents, waiting for days and at times repeating the same process again. The user could validate his/her Aadhaar and come onboard to start investing in financial markets within few seconds anytime anywhere. This is an open and highly welcome framework for investors changing things for good. The responsive web app puts the power into the hands of the user.

There has been longing need for Indian financial economy to benefit from revolutions in the area of technology and design. These revolutions in the space have changed the way we buy things, consume media, travel around or get entertained. But one has to still suffer from poor user experiences while interacting with ancient financial systems in the modern digital economy. Primary reasons have been lack of concern from institutions, highly regulated ancient systems and processes, biased for a large portfolio, poor adoption of technology and design.

It is only up until the last few years that the locked down economy is opening for more open and distributed participation. With systems like Aadhaar based on-boarding, UPI & increasing no of new age startup & initiatives in the area of Fin-tech has triggered a healthy competition for next level growth. It is expected to come from easy, welcoming and distributed participation of common man into the financial markets.

This is a small adaption of our work. Through our strategy and UX design efforts, the AMC became fastest growing among the top 10 in India. With the majority of revenue coming from their direct investment platform.
