As a designer, one could relate to Trio Gods. Indian mythology says God is the Generator, Operator, and Destroyer. This is a standard Hindu concept with Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer being the three faces of God.

The Creator is the personality that is highly intuitive. A designer who is a master of cognitive sciences could foresee the future. Preserving insights and connecting tangents gives an ability to illustrate the picture today. Delightful experiences are being crafted. Hence, creations stimulate collaborations among interdisciplinary fields: towards the common purpose of improving the quality of life.

As Preserver one works towards bringing order to randomness. Architecting standards to bring in balance. Working towards a progressive growth in a perfect rhythm.

In this role: the designer enables to reap rewards & scale the creations of the past. He/She keeps the show running to afford/fund newer creations. Newer understanding would fuel further radical thoughts which put the human race on efficient tracks for exponential growth which raises standards of living. Room for revolutions not possible earlier is opened for fresher perspectives.

As Destroyer one has to vigilantly probes into the very depth to dig out loopholes and set a strong base for things to come. Destroyer is a persona that helps in preserving the very vital and channelizing the energy of all others to make room for newer creations.

Finally, without destruction, there can be no recreation. The destroyer rather plays the role of a Disruptor. Allocating resources for scaling creation as per emerging trends with a preference of more holistic good.

There is also a strong overlap and interdependence between different roles. We also need to understand that ultimately personas are not different but part of the same. The degree of dominance of a specific role varies with the change in nature of work and situation one is in.
