In the previous story, I already explained a little bit about Portfolio and why it is important to have. Still related to the previous story, I want to explain about CV a little bit and why it is important to have too.

The CV is a summary of your professional life on more than one page that contains your profile, education, experience, conferences, workshops and achievements. CV is different from Resume, the differences between the two of them are the length of page, layout, and purpose of these documents.

The CV has no length limit, whereas Resume is typically one to two pages long. A CV contains the whole course of the candidate’s academic career and life such as profile, education, experience, etc. Whereas Resume summaries skills and work experience. The CV is usually used for academic purposes, but resumes are to apply for jobs.

However, many companies want to get your CV not just a Resume. Because it contains more information and detailed than Resume.

Stay tuned on this Medium for more information about Resume.
