Today, we are proud to announce that we went live with the VagaChain Mainnet. The past year has witnessed many milestones for us, including record revenue, striking partnerships, and many new friends following/supporting us on our journey.
With the first Genesis Block written on December 5th 2022, 12:54:55 AM +UTC, we are excited to get all our clients, partners, old and new to experience what Vagabond has to offer!

VagaChain Explorer
Live blockchain data can be visualised on the VagaChain Explorer, a graphic user interface designed to allow users to interact with the blockchain. Through this interface, users can browse information about the current block height, number of validators, total circulating supply, staked/bonded tokens and consult transaction hashes with all its relevant info.

VagaCon Event
We have a pleasant surprise for the whole Vagabond community coming early next year! Vagabond will host its first ever VagaCon, a digital 1-day event in Q1/Q2 2023 (date to be released) which will include participation of:
- Vagabond B2B business partners, which may include PwC and Ernst & Young (to be confirmed)
- Celebrity, partner and Vagabond team speakers
- Showcasing of Vagabond products/services running on Vagabond V2
- Showcasing of projects running on both the Vagabond platform and VagaChain blockchain
- .. and much more !!
Further details to the event will be published by the end of Q1, 2023.
VagaWallet iOS… delayed
Starting today, everyone will be able to connect their accounts and verify how much $VAGA they will be able to claim, but we have a delay with the VagaWallet iOS app due to Apples recent concerns with how tokens are airdropped and transacted through the app, which we believe were culminated by the recent events like the Coinbase iOS Wallet controversy. All is being handled, but the process is taking longer than expected.
We expect Apple to give the final approval in the next 24–48h… but can take up to a week. Unfortunately, we’re fully dependent on Apple at this stage to finally give the green light with the public launch on the Apple App Store.
Update 12–12–2022: The team is in constant communication with Apple. We are doing our best to have the iOS app approved as soon as possible. Please be patient as we await the final approval decision given by Apple which may take longer than previously anticipated.
The VagaWallet Android app is ready, as many have already had the opportunity to see it dropped on the Google Play Store. But please don’t download or use the app yet, only after our full confirmation which will happen throughout all our social media channels.
Ok… but then when can we finally claim our $VAGA coins?
As soon as Apple gives the green light, everyone will be able to download and use both iOS / Android VagaWallet apps to claim their $VAGA coins, exchange their reward points for tokens, create their 1st $VAGA account and finally participate on the VagaChain network.
It would be unfair for all the community to be able to claim their $VAGA coins through the Android app and not through the iOS app, as many users don’t have android phones, and vice versa. Therefore, we believe our decision to delay till the iOS app is live is the best one and which gives equal opportunity for everyone.
How do I claim my $VAGA coins after the launch of the VagaWallet?
There will be an update regarding the documentation of the $VAGA claiming procedure soon to be released.
When will trading with $VAGA commence on VagaSwap DEX?
The moment both VagaWallet iOS/Android apps are live, VagaSwap will be launched by Vagabond soon after. As communicated in our previous post, the first token pairing on the DEX will be $VAGA/$USDT (Bep20).
Vagabond Website Update
Another milestone achieved, another bridge built between us and our growing world-wide community and business partners. We’re proud to announce that our new website is finally out — you can now visit https://vagabonds.cloud/ to see all the new changes.
As a note, you will still be able to access the legacy website https://vagabondapp.io/ and continue to use the V-Wallet web interface until we fully transition into the VagaWallet iOS/Android app.
Vagabond V2 Platform Live… but limited
Of course — this is just the beginning — all the amazing modules and functionalities are yet to be launched, we’ve put together a page that reveals some of the outstanding work we’ve done so far and a major unlocking of functionalities will occur shortly after VagaWallet is live on both iOS and Android platforms.
The Vagabond V2 platform will serve as the main hub where all users can create, build and configure all their amazing projects on the Vagabond platform, starting from eCommerce solutions to fully fledged Cradle-to-Cradle Life Cycle Assessment and Management solutions.
Verify your $VAGA coin airdrop claim amount
On the V2 Platform, we enabled users to connect their wallets in order to verify the amount of $VAGA that they will be able to claim.
- $VGO (BSC) token holders will need to connect their wallets through Wallet Connect if not done so already.
- $VGB (XRPL) token holders will need to connect their XUMM wallet. Users who didn’t hold their $VGB on XUMM, but instead on a different self-custody wallet (Ledger Nano, D’Cent, etc..), please contact the Vagabond Support Team by opening a support ticket through our contacts page here. All support requests will be handled and replied to in a 24h period.
Please be reminded that the connected wallet account must be the same account that contained your $VGO / $VGB token holdings at the time of the snapshot. More info regarding the snapshot for the $VAGA Airdrop in our previous Medium post available here.
Users who had their BSC and XRPL wallets previously connected to the V-Wallet (web) will notice that their wallets are already connected and shown, including their $VAGA coin amount(s) for claiming.
