VGB/VGO Snapshot Success!

We are excited to announce that the $VGO (BSC) and $VGB (XRPL) snapshots were successfully generated this morning on November 29th 2022, 10:00:31 AM +UTC in preparation for the VagaChain Mainnet launch.

What happens now to $VGO and $VGB?
As noted in our documentation, both $VGO (BSC) and $VGB (XRPL) tokens are equally supported and continuously developed on the Vagabond platform. VagaChain further enhances usability and interoperability between the 2 tokens, as well as with $VAGA and other v20 tokens on the VagaChain network.
Furthermore, interoperability with other blockchain networks compatible with the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC) will also be made available in the near future.
What’s next? VagaChain Mainnet!

$VAGA coin distribution and claiming
The $VAGA Airdrop distribution event will commence on the 6th of December 2022; users will be able to start claiming their $VAGA coins shortly thereafter.
How do I claim my $VAGA coins?
A follow-up article will soon be released with the full procedure of the claiming process.
Do I still need to maintain my $VGO/$VGB tokens in my self-custody wallet till $VAGA is distributed?
No. Holders are free to do as they wish with their token holdings. The snapshot of the blockchain has been generated and all accounts with $VGO and $VGB token holdings have been fully registered.
Were Bitrue (CEX) token holdings included in the snapshot?
No, as addressed in our previous Medium post, only tokens that were held in self-custody wallets at the time of the snapshot were included for the $VAGA Airdrop.
VagaWallet iOS/Android status quo
The VagaWallet is set to be released on the 6th of December 2022. Users will be able to login with their current vagabondapp.io credentials, or generate new ones, and start to create their very first $VAGA account; later required for the claiming process of the $VAGA Airdrop.
VagaSwap DEX
The VagaSwap decentralised exchange is set to go live approx. 1 week after VagaChain Mainnet is released. First token pairing will be $VAGA/$USDT (BEP20) and shortly thereafter more pairings will be added over time such as: $VAGA/$VGB, $VAGA/$VGO, $VAGA/$XRP and $VAGA/$BNB.
Before any trading possible, Vagabond will ensure an ample amount of time (approx. 1 week) for all participants in the $VAGA Airdrop to have an equal opportunity to claim their coins with ZERO monetary value.
