Have you ever jumped into a marshmallow pool or have seen art galleries made out of thousands of candies? Welcome to every child’s dream: Candytopia, a sweet retail experience. What do you get when you buy a ticket to Candytopia? Well, only the best walk through candy paradise and an instagrammable experience with free samples from brands like Lindt, Nestle, and Tootsie.

Candytopia is not the only exhibition following this trend of a pop-up, instagram-oriented and interactive experience. The Museum of Ice Cream in San Francisco, Rose Mansion in New York City are both examples of this type of attraction that is currently booming with Generation Z and Millennial age groups. The success is evident from the fact that tickets have been selling out in all Candytopia locations; Santa Monica, New York and San Francsico.

The purpose of this installation, as John Goodman, CEO of Candytopia describes is just to walk in, spend a good hour of pure joy and treats and get out jumping off the walls. To all the sweet tooths out there, make sure to check out this candy wonderland if they are open near you — you will not regret it.

What Valery Thinks: Candytopia is the perfect example of a pop-up experience that stole the hearts of their customers. By creating the sense of urgency and exclusivity with limited tickets as well as having a sharable and interactive experience, customers can spread the joy on their social media. Adding the photogenic and instagrammable factor only multiplies the effect of raising hype. Who wouldn’t leave the store with a good taste of the brand in their mouth?
