Q: What inspired you to join the Validation Cloud team and how do you see your role contributing to the mission of the company?
A: I believe that the adoption of Web3 is somewhat imminent and I would love to be a part of it. Validation Cloud is offering a key product to the Web3 market by providing the core infrastructure to help this industry thrive. My role is to help support and maintain the underlying networking infrastructure.
Q: What is your role at Validation Cloud, and could you share some details about your previous experience and background?
A: I am a DevOps engineer at Validation Cloud, with previous experience over the past ten years working as a consultant for financial services like HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and London Stock Exchange. In previous roles, I built and supported distributed systems. I enjoy working with the team at Validation Cloud, the engineers are intelligent and innovative and I’m happy to be a part of such a team.
Q: What are your thoughts on the potential impact of Web3 technology, and how do you think Validation Cloud can help organizations tap into its potential?
A: Web3 is here to stay and evolve as more regulatory clarity eventually comes in. One major milestone we’re working on achieving is SOC2 compliance which will make us stand out from the competition in my opinion.
I think Validation Cloud is offering a range of Web3 technologies for institutions and developers to help bootstrap innovation in the various ecosystems we support.
Q: What do you think sets Validation Cloud apart from other Web3 infrastructure companies?
A: Validation Cloud has a range of partnerships across various blockchain ecosystems and is also mission-driven to support the development of Web3 technology. This allows us to stay at the forefront of innovation, growth, and adoption as well as maintain the curiosity to keep up to date with changing market trends.
Q: Which team values resonate with you the most, and why?
A: Commitment to Excellence and Solutions Orientation. I believe that always raising the bar to meet a high degree of execution has become a standard daily practice in my role to ensure excellence in everything I do. Also having a low ego within the team enables a platform for teamwork and growing together as a company.
Q: How do you plan on collaborating with other team members to deliver highly performant and customizable products in staking, node, and data-as-a-service?
A: I plan on collaborating with other engineers and making use of our bi-annual offsites to innovate on new technologies. During this period, the teams meet in person to work on any tech debt or bigger issues that are better resolved in person. From my side, I assist in brainstorming and building automation for our infrastructure.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies or interests outside of Web3?
A: I enjoy playing music and traveling with family and friends.
