k kiosk offers people on the move instant enjoyment at almost 1’000 locations across Switzerland. The brand’s shops allow customers to satisfy their specific needs quickly and easily, to create their own little moments of happiness.
We are excited to introduce a brand new app that will provide even more of these instant enjoyments to our many loyal customers. The k kiosk app gives them the opportunity to receive attractive digital coupons on their mobile phones. In addition, we have created stamp cards for our most frequently bought products such as coffee, ok.- energy drinks, Coca Cola or ice cream. Foregone the times of physical stamp cards which are not at hand during check-out or get lost entirely just before the reward is reached. With the k kiosk app, stamp cards and coupons are always at the fingertips of our customers and so are their next rewards.
A key differentiator of the k kiosk app is its range of innovative share and care features. Whether customers recommend the entire app or share individual coupons such as their rewards from stamp cards. The k kiosk app allows easy sharing via SMS or messenger and in many cases rewards the sender, the receiver or even both. Sharing is caring and to further encourage social interaction around the app, there are dedicated coupons which cannot be redeemed by the initial user. Once shared, however, they become an active coupon for a free product — of course including a “shared by” reference to the generous donor.
The k kiosk app is very easy to use. Available as a free download on Apple iTunes or Google Play stores, once registered, users access a wide selection of digital coupons and stamp cards. To redeem them, they shop at one of our many k kiosk locations in Switzerland and show the app during checkout to have the respective barcode scanned. That’s all our customers need to enjoy their favorite products at discounted prices!
Launched end of March in Switzerland, the app was already downloaded by tens of thousands of customers which propelled the k kiosk app to the top 3 shopping apps on the iTunes store during the launch phase. In addition, on June 14, Valora was awarded the 2017 European Convenience Retail Technology Award for its innovative mobile app. The award was presented during the NACS Insight Convenience Summit–Europe in London at this year’s International Convenience Retailer Awards gala. But the most rewarding thing was to see that thousands customers already redeemed or shared digital coupons, collected stamps and enjoyed free products.
