Use This Clothing Life Hack To Make A Difference

Let’s face it, we all have a lot of clothes. By a lot of clothes I don’t mean that we all have a 100 square foot walk-in closet and 5 pieces of underwear for each day of the year. When I say we all have a lot of clothes, what I’m saying is that we have a lot of pieces of clothing that we don’t wear, and lots of different attire that as a matter of fact we will never wear again.

The problem is however, when we’re looking through clothes to throw away there’s always a little voice in our head that goes “But I might wear it in the future, it goes great with this”. Repeat this every single time you’re emptying your closet and you’ll end up with a closet that’s never truly empty, but rather filled with garments that’ll sit in your closet for years to come.

So, how do you fix this? The answer is fairly simple. Are you ready for it?

All you need to do is start the year with all of your clothing on one side of the closet (let’s say the left side for our example). Every single time you wear something, put it on the right side of the closet when you’re hanging it. By the end of the year, you’ll still have some pieces of clothing on the left side of your closet that you haven’t worn all year (even if you said you were going to).

These are the pieces of clothing you can donate, make a difference with, and take away to help clean out your closet. Let me know if you have any simple life hacks down below in the comments. Cheers!
