I watched the olypics in 2016 and there was alot to learn from Miller about life, giving up, pushing yourself and winning. I wrote a blogpost to which I am reposting it here again. This is what I wrote

So I have been paying attention to what is happening with the Olympics and some things are just amazing and others are insane, one of the things that left me speechless, is the win of Miller for the Gold medal of the 400m run . She literally dived , if you have seen the picture or look well at the picture, you can clearly see that if she didn’t do what she did the lady next to her was the one winning.

She was already looking at the finish line and maybe she was tired already or afraid at the sight of the other person winning so she decided to do the unthinkable. That is called “Radical action/decision”.

Sometimes in this life we find ourselves in situations where if we do not make certain decisions, radical decisions we will lose we will not get what we have worked so much for, maybe even what we have prayed so much for. So we decide to do something radical that will trigger immediate win. We take a Dive.

A friend of mine on Facebook quoted the article about Miller in these words “ When they walk.. we run, When they run.. we fly, When they fly faster… we DIVE”

When life is giving you a treat you don’t like, you look at it , smile and say “You have no idea who you are dealing with”, when it feels like your b*tt is kicked you smile and say “You kick like a kid” and suprise yourself by taking actions to better steps in your lilfe.

Looking at your fears in the face and say ” Is that all you have got? , Let me show you who I am” and taking steps towards your win.

Go after your dreams, start that business, re-do that plan, re-visit that dream, give a chance to those relationships, let go of those unnecessary friends and relationships that put you down.

Do something to surpise even yourself.

Surprise yourself this year, do things that you have been afraid of doing, resurrect those dead dreams, rebuild that dead business and leave yourself in awe.
