What May we had!
What an exciting May month it has been so far for Vanig. We had a very successful event at the Fundingpost conference, we onboarded a major logistics company in Europe and Asia as a partner, we attended Consensus 2018 and we are closing in on completing our MVP.
Fundingpost Conference
Vanig was a platinum speaker at the New York Funding Post Conference . Various VCs, Angel Investors, Family offices, Crypto Investors and Entrepreneurs joined the event to discuss what’s going on in the world of blockchain and ICOs and early-stage capital raising in general. Vanig VP of Investor Relations Bret Brodbeck presented at the session and received a great response. We had various members of the audience including investors interested in Vanig. Follow up discussions are scheduled with some of them in the upcoming weeks.
B Group Logistics
B Group is a leading logistics player head quartered in Italy, with offices in 13 countries and over 20 offices worldwide. B Group handles logistics for clothing and fashion, offering inventory and transportation from manufacturing to store for various major brands and companies worldwide. B Group is known for using technology and tools to provide continuous and real time information throughout the supply chain. Vanig is proud to partner with them and there are good synergies to be had.
Vanig vision includes Transparency, security, cost efficiency, delightful consumer and brand experience. BGroup will support Vanig as a logistics partner and also support Vanig’s “Know your Brands/Products” process by validating raw materials, finished goods and certification to increase consumer confidence.
MVP
We have been working on our MVP over the last one year and are very close to releasing the public version. We are currently doing early previews within team Vanig and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The MVP features a functional and elegant E-Commerce platform that allows for –
1. Sign up of new users and login using Uport, Civic and native E-Commerce platform.
2. Browsing and viewing various products on the platform including viewing provenance information of products stored in the blockchain.
3. Payment transaction using the blockchain and VANIG tokens.
We are also starting to demo the MVP to potential investors starting next week.
Consensus 2018
Consensus 2018 is the largest blockchain related technology summit that was held from May 14 to May 16. It featured 250+ speakers and 4,000+ attendees from the leading industry startups, investors, financial institutions, enterprise tech leaders, and academic and policy groups who are building the foundations of the blockchain and digital currency economy.
Team Vanig had a great time at the event, resulting in various meaningful conversations with potential partners and investors. Follow up conversations are happening since the event and it is looking very promising.
That we can’t talk about yet
Well, we can’t say much can we?! We have been meeting with various investors and partners over the last several weeks. On the partner front, we have lined up some very successful players operating in various areas of Supply Chain and E-Commerce that would aid and strengthen Vanig’s journey. On the investors front, things are progressing pretty fast and there is going to be some exciting updates from Vanig in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!!
