A Man Like Yemi Osinbajo, Who Can Find?
Leadership is not about title or designation. It is about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact is result-driven while influence is about spreading passion to inspire others. There are few men with such exciting qualities and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has proven to be a bigwig in such calibre.
The interest and dedication the Vice President of Nigeria has concerning the affairs of the nation is no joke, he has carried out his duty wholesomely with focus, zeal and dedication. It’s obvious he is a man of integrity and great value. He is committed towards open and inclusive leadership.
Osinbajo is supportive and always ready to resolve any conflicting issue, he just has a way of easing tension and he softens the hearts of people wherever he is. His commitment towards the successful implementation of all initiatives under the National Social Investment Programmes such as; NHGSFP, N-Power, CCT, GEEP (MarketMoni and TraderMoni) and many more people-oriented initiatives is a proof of his passion for the development of all and sundry. There is no other person that is helping to enhance the capacity of Nigerian youths than Osinbajo. He has birthed a number of scientific and innovation hubs across Nigeria, for the purpose of youth capacity building.
In 2007, he and his wife founded the Orderly Society Trust, a Non-governmental Organisation that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics. Asides being a Professor and SAN, he is a respected man of God. Prof. (as he is fondly called) is romantic and he’s a man who is not shy to display his affections in public — his love for his wife; Dolapo and family is really exemplary. His position in the country does not affect the position he holds at home. He being a religious leader, a politician and a SAN makes him a man with many purpose. He is an hybrid leader.
The first test of a truly great man is in his humility, and no doubt, such virtue is evidently seen in Yemi Osinbajo. Such rare quality makes him revered by others. A man like him, who can find?
