Collaboration with Hanyang University
VANTA Network is in collaboration with Hanyang University in South Korea.
The VANTA Network team is working closely with the MNI (Mobile & Network Intelligence) Lab at Hanyang University in South Korea. Hanyang University, a leading private research university, started out as the first engineering institute in South Korea in 1939. The MNI Lab specializes in Network Intelligence and Convergence, Mobile and Embedded Systems, and IoT and USN/RFID fields.
Hanyang University researchers are working closely with the VANTA Network team to provide research support for consensus and data routing algorithms in addition to supporting the development and validation of PoC models.
Recently, VANTA received widespread media attention in Korea for its official collaboration with Hanyang University.
The Hanyang University research team is led by Professor Inwhee Joe. Inwhee received his B.S and M.S in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University in South Korea. He later acquired an M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Inwhee is currently a Professor for the Department of Computer Science at Hanyang University.
