Ryan was at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for nearly 5 years as an Enterprise Account Manager and BCS (Unix) Sales Specialist before moving onto Oracle JAPAC as a Sales Representative, where he stayed for 1 year and 6 months. After leaving Oracle, Ryan founded Voiceloco, a software company specializing in telecommunications.

Can you explain what real-time networking is?
“Real-time networking is not only for messaging, file transmissions, voice, and video calls but also for broadcast systems and streaming video data to many people like YouTube. Game developers also use this for real-time user interaction data transmission for those that involve multi-user interaction. Startups and small to mid-sized companies can use VANTA’s API or SDK lets companies build services more cost-effectively and quickly by integrating our technology with their own.”
What do you think about the current status of the blockchain industry?
“There were many projects that helped us broaden our awareness about the incredible potential of blockchain technology. However, it had always been difficult to apply the technology to something that people actually use. When VANTA was just an idea, we are designing our product to be used by both individuals and organizations. VANTA helps solve problems that we face when using centralized services while providing a better user experience.”
Can you tell us more about the collaboration with Hanyang University?
“We’re currently working with the MNI Lab at Hanyang University. Together, we are building our network so it is a part of our everyday lives. One of our core developers, Professor Inwhee Joe, is leading the MNI Lab in their collaboration with VANTA. With their expertise in blockchain research, they are testing the consensus algorithm to apply to the VANTA Network.”
What do you think about the blockchain market in China?
“China plays a key role in many different aspects in the blockchain industry. There are a number of projects that are being recognized for their progress in technology and Chinese conglomerates are actively investing and supporting blockchain technology.”
