Business Update
VANTA Token swap deadline officially extended
The deadline of VANTA Token swap previously announced on official web-based token swap page(https://swap.vanta.network) has been officially extended to 30th September.
Currently CertiK has been completed security checks on the new VANTA Token and VANTA team received the audit report with a high score for the new smart contract. Also the new VANTA Token is now listed on an Ethereum decentralized exchange IDEX for all VANTA holders who have already swapped their tokens.
Other exchanges are now in discussion about providing automatic swap for holders to support convenient token swap process.
Update on VANTA Network new roadmap
VANTA Network team gathered opinions about the best strategic option for the project despite of the previously announced roadmap, and decided that it requires for some more time to derive better path for VANTA.
To deliver the best scenario to all, the launch of the VANTA Mainnet has been postponed to the first quarter of 2020. VANTA team sincerely believe that it will be a decision for the benefit of the holders, and will do the best to make it happen for all community members.
As the Mainnet schedule is changed, VANTA team will try to create an environment where many companies can actually run tests and apply VANTA SDKs on existing running Testnet(Panther). Furthermore VANTA team will try to ensure the stability and reliability of the network and make VANTA network to gain competitive position over other blockchain projects.
Technical Update
Update on VANTA core development
VANTA Team have been testing and developing new features on the Testnet(Panther), and especially features such as register node ID, reward, and validation have been added to the core.
- Implemented additional logics that participants, such as sender devices, receiver devices, worker nodes, can sign and validate messages when the messages are delivered on the VANTA network
- Developed an internal smart contract for developers to register their app ID to use the VANTA API
- Improved the logic for transferring rewards to nodes that participate to provide their resources for real-time networking jobs on the VANTA network
- Added a logic to register a node ID of a participating node on the network and check their reward
VANTA new smart contract scored 97 in CertiK Audit Report
CertiK, one of the world’s leading cyber security companies, has completed security checks on the New VANTA Token smart contract, as current ERC-20 based VNT(old) will be swapped to ERC-20 based VANTA(new) tokens on a different smart contract. The code was analyzed by the proprietary CertiK formal verification engine and manually reviewed by CertiK’ smart contract experts and engineers same as the first audit.
According to CertiK’s report, the New VANTA Token received a high score of 97 out of 100, along with an assessment that it is secure to be listed on digital asset exchanges. The new CertiK Audit Report has been delivered to each digital asset exchanges to prove that our new VANTA Token has been passed security qualification to be listed.
