Before the beginning of VANTA Network, DotConnect was created to create telecommunication technology that both service providers and users can benefit from. After receiving recognition and investment from government agencies and influential IT corporations in South Korea, DotConnect has built up an impressive list of alliances including Apple APAC, HP Enterprise, SK Telecom, SK Broadband, Sejong Telecom, KCC Engineering & Construction, and more.

Apple APAC

DotConnect is working closely with Apple’s Business Development team to combine their communications technology to provide B2B services to enterprises and hotels, to name a few. Apple is the world’s largest information technology company by revenue and the world’s third-largest mobile phone manufacturer after Samsung and Huawei. In 2018, Apple became the first company to be valued at over $1 trillion USD.

HP Enterprise

DotConnect and HP Enterprise are exploring a new communication service by combining the Hardware from HP with DotConnect’s solution. HP Enterprise is a multinational enterprise information technology company with a revenue of $30.85 billion USD.

SK Telecom

DotConnect’s communication solution will be combined with SK Telecom’s Private LTE and devices for SK Telecom’s enterprise customers. SK Telecom is a South Korean wireless telecommunications operator that is part of the SK Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Korea.

Sejong Telecom

DotConnect and Sejong Telecom are providing a complete communication solution called, “Sejong Smart Biz” to enterprises. Sejong Telecom is the 4th largest wire and wireless telecommunication services in South Korea.

KCC Engineering & Construction

DotConnect is closely working with KCC E & C to find a solution for enterprise communication services by using DotConnect’s UCaaS or API. KCC Engineering & Construction.

Additionally, the DotConnect team successfully developed a software-based IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) for one of the most widely used common carriers in South Korea called Sejong Telecom. DotConnect was the first in the telecommunications industry to develop 100% of the technology, which was quickly commercialized through their collaboration with Sejong Telecom. DotConnect was the first in the telecommunications industry to develop an IMS with software components only when the rest of the industry relied on hardware, therefore allowing DotConnect to scale and commercialize quickly through their collaboration with Sejong Telecom.

DotConnect’s IMS Core Component, SIP Client, as well as its Client Engine for their mobile communication services are carrier-grade certified, guaranteeing high-reliability.

Carrier-Grade Certification Checklist:¹

  • Are your system’s hardware and software reliable?
  • Does your product have a fault-tolerant architecture and features that are capable of meeting downtime requirements at the lowest cost of ownership?
  • Is your product capable of in-service upgrades?
  • Does your product incorporate robustness and security features that are required to mitigate the impact of denial of services (DoS) attacks, traffic overloads, and human error?
  • Can your product provide optimized traffic performance for different types of applications?
  • Is your product modular, to support high scalability?
  • Does your product implement management features to support operational measurement and tracking, performance and alarm monitoring, and fault diagnostics?
  • Is your product’s mechanical packaging design optimized for the minimal cost of maintenance, and does it provide the required protection from transportation and operational environment?
  • Is your product designed to minimize the impact on the environment?
  • Do your development practices and tools ensure that the preceding capabilities are designed, implemented, and verified with a high level of rigor to meet customer expectations of high quality, low cost, and fast time-to-market?

Furthermore, DotConnect is launching and operating additional premium communication services with various extended services designed for enterprises by providing their API. These services are available for use on the web as well as mobile devices, AI speakers, notebooks, cars, etc.

DotConnect’s expertise in the telecommunications space is invaluable to the design, development, and growth of VANTA, and will continue to provide support to the VANTA Network by running a number of Carrier-Grade validators and worker nodes, along with providing gateways to traditional telecom services on the network. Using this existing infrastructure, VANTA Network gives developers the environment and features to reliably execute and validate jobs.
