Tech Team Lead
The VANTA development team is led by Adrian Park who received his Master’s Degree from Seoul National University for Computer Vision & Image Processing. Adrian began developing when he was a young teen and founded Gamedetect Communications when he was 14 years old. It was Korea’s very first search engine designed for games.
Gamedetect provided users with integrated search results including news, patches, cheat codes, and various other resources such as downloadable Starcraft maps. Adrian was featured in numerous news articles including the article mentioned below, which states Gamedetect had over 80,000 daily visitors in 2000.

After completing his education at Seoul National University, Adrian joined SK Planet as a Data Scientist. SK Planet is a subsidiary of SK Telecom that focuses on e-Commerce, Online-to-Offline services, and digital marketing. SK Telecom is a wireless telecommunications operator that is part of the SK group, one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates.
At SK Planet, Adrian led projects in areas such as Large-scale Graph Data Processing, Large-scale Graph Visualization on the Web and Real-time Data Processing and Web Analytics Platform Development. He then joined Voiceloco, a startup developing software products including IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) and Voice APIs.

Martin has a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering from Yonsei University and later received his MBA at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2018, Martin went back to school at UC Berkeley School of Information for another Master Degree in Information & Data Science, Big Data.
Martin began his career at Bixon Networks as a Senior Software Developer and was promoted to Director of Product Management within only 2 years. He later moved on to Oracle as a Technical Analyst and was promoted to a Senior Technical Consultant. After almost 7 years at Oracle, Martin began his career as a Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon Web Services. Currently, he is with Teradata as a Senior Manager of Product Management and has been a team member for the past 2 years.

Inwhee Joe, Ph.D.
Head of R&D
Inwhee received his B.S and M.S in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University in South Korea. He later acquired a M.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Inwhee is currently a Professor for the Department of Computer Science at Hanyang University. He leads the MNI (Mobile & Network Intelligence) Lab at Hanyang University that is responsible for the main research at VANTA.

Sun received his B.S. in Computer Software from Kwangwoon University in South Korea and began his career as an Engineer at Wipro Technologies, where he worked for over 6 years in India.
Sun was one of the first independent application developers to gain international success by producing two widely popular applications for first generation Android devices: aCircuitBoard (watch video), and aSpiritBomb.
In 2014, Sun began his career at Voiceloco as the Development Team Lead where he developed and managed their unified communications service backend, log management and statistics systems, and unified communications service admin web app and native apps.

Core Algorithm Developer
Daniel worked at Apple Inc. for over 2 years as a Software Development Intern when he was just 10 years old. If that doesn’t shock you, he participated in the Bitcoin developer community since Bitcoin was first introduced at age 9.
For the past 10 years, he has accomplished an incredible amount of research and accumulated vast amounts of knowledge about blockchain technology. Already, Daniel has filed and holds a number of blockchain technology patents.

Tom began to develop Ethereum and Smart Contracts in 2017 and since then, he has been actively introducing and educating South Koreans about the blockchain technology. Prior to becoming a blockchain developer, Tom was working at Netmarble, the number one online game publisher in South Korea with a revenue of approximately $1.3 billion USD.
In 2018, Tom founded DevTooth, a well-respected blockchain development team. Tom also wrote a book about EOS to educate new blockchain developers in South Korea. It will be published within the next couple of months.
