Prior to the pandemic, we used to organise community events all over the world. We loved bringing everyone together to learn about TypeDB (back then called Grakn) and share ideas with like-minded people. It was a heck of a lot of fun!

Over the years, we frequently visited cities such as San Francisco, New York, Boston, Seattle, Paris, London, Cambridge, Berlin and many more.

One community event that was particularly memorable was in December 2018, where James Fletcher, one of our engineers, presented our work on KGCN for the first time. We had quite a full house! And a fabulous venue too — the Royal Academy of Engineering, right besides Buckingham Palace.

Earlier that year Haikal Pribadi, our CEO, also presented to a packed room in Glasgow — experiencing Glasgow’s nightlife after the event was a lot of fun!

The pandemic, of course, meant we had to hit pause on our in-person events. Instead, we started organising community webinars and we’re proud to say that, two years on, we’ve done 171 webinars and engaged with almost 10,000 developers worldwide.

And now that the world is opening up, we’re very excited to announce:

TypeDB is going on tour to Cambridge, New York and Boston!

If you’d like to learn about TypeDB, meet other community members, and have a fun evening, join us at any of these:

If you’re around and want to meet us and the rest of the community, come on over and say hi!
