Popcorn is popping with excitement to announce a technical partnership with dOrg, a DAO dedicated to accelerate the development of top tier blockchain projects around the world.

dOrg, whose self-organizing client-facing teams work with many of the most creative and respected projects in the Web3 space (think Balancer, Compound, Badger, Gnosis Safe, and Starkware) was the first legally incorporated DAO back in 2019. A strong DAO that acts like a freelance developer collective, dOrg has an energized community that supports its members to fulfil their career and life goals while offering first-class client services.

I’m very excited for dOrg to be supporting the Popcorn project. Their community is incredibly well-coordinated and committed to their vision of repurposing DeFi for social impact while minimizing negative externalities.

— Ori Shimony, Core Contributor/R&D Lead, dOrg

The dOrg team at Popcorn includes veteran software engineers, Web3 leaders and data scientists. They’ll be a valuable addition to the Popcorn team in the build up to the token launch event on November 29 and well into 2022 as they support the development of building regenerative DeFi solutions.

Our dOrg team is simply stellar, and we could not be more excited to work with these passionate, creative, and experienced individuals. Their experience in Web3, blockchain, and data science will be extraordinarily valuable as we build out some next-level technology

— Anthony D. Martin, Founder of Popcorn

About dOrg

dOrg are crypto-natives supercharging the crypto industry by helping build the (lego) blocks that support the entire blockchain industry. Whether diving short-term into a project to help solve an urgent issue or merging into a project over the long-term, their builders (their name for their members) can supply everything a web3 project needs, from front-end integrations to back-end software developers, web and design creatives, and technical and general project managers. They’ve even recently incorporated a token economic expert and a CPA qualified accountant, so they can help clients with these areas too.

As previously mentioned, pioneered the first Limited Liability DAO legal setup (publicly available on Github). As a decentralized organization, and a mission to ‘realize the web3 vision of a decentralized internet that empowers individuals and communities everywhere’, dOrg embraces decentralization not only philosophically but also pragmatically: head to their handbook and the first few pages are all about their values, which include peer support and collaboration, decentralized ownership and decision-making, and radical transparency.
