VaultCraft by Popcorn
A no-code DeFi protocol for customizing vault strategies
Introducing VaultCraft
Yield-generating token vaults for everyone, arriving April 24th, 2023 with Sweet Vaults!
Two years ago, Popcorn embarked on a journey to reinvent yield-generating financial products. By automating protocol fees to fund non-profit organizations, users could earn a competitive yield on their crypto assets while generating impact around the world.
While we were building products like Butter, 3x, and POP staking vaults, we came across an earth-shaking discovery — one that could forever change the way that projects manage digital assets. The time has come to take the lid off.
Enter VaultCraft.
The World of VaultCraft
Countless products in the cryptosphere rely on vaults, whether built using Yearn, Aave, Beefy, or others. The ERC-4626 token standard has made integrating assets from different protocols much easier for developers, but there still can be significant tech hurdles for projects looking to create their own vaults.
On top of that, readymade vault creation platforms usually charge high management and/or performance fees and are limited to only a handful of protocols. That is not delicious.
VaultCraft makes vault creation easy, cost-effective, and (dare we say it) buttery smooth. All you have to do is pick your underlying assets, your strategy, any fees you’d like to tack on, and where you’d like to send those fees. Any EVM-compatible chain can join the party.
All vaults are on-chain, non-custodial, and permissionless. Once a vault is created with VaultCraft, it will exist on the specified chain for anyone to access.
Your yield, your way
What does seamless vault creation mean for your project? It means you can build without getting lost in the weeds. Unloading a massive pile of your technical debt into VaultCraft frees you to think bigger and zero in on product-market fit.
Projects that spin up their own vaults save a massive amount of developer time and energy on smart contract development and security. What used to take many months of work and potentially millions of dollars can now be completed in a matter of minutes, virtually for free. This allows teams to completely focus on the needs of end users.
DAOs can create custom-tailored treasury solutions. Crypto hedge funds can create custom strategies for their trading desks. Degens can go at it in their vault sandbox.
If VaultCraft existed prior to us launching Popcorn’s product set, countless hours of development would have been compressed into a few minutes. Not only does this enable Popcorn to pursue more powerful Noble Yield offerings, but it empowers other projects in the space to achieve their goals faster. This is our way of driving the entire industry forward.
We got something sweet for you…
We’ve using VaultCraft to deploy 30+ SweetVaults over the next few weeks. SweetVaults are automated asset strategies that simultaneously fund public goods at no additional cost! Here’s what we got for you in our first batch:
- DAI on Mainnet
- USDC on Mainnet
- USDT LP on Polygon
- USDC LP on Polygon
- DAI on Optimism
- USDC on Optimism

All early adopters will be white-listed for POP 2.0. More details on this soon!
Dive into the world of VaultCraft
We’re so confident in the power of VaultCraft that we’re making it completely fee-free to our first cohort of users. Eventually, PopcornDAO will vote on administrating fees, a portion of which will go toward PopcornDAO’s public goods fund.
To top it off, we’re dedicating a portion of our developer resources this year to building customized solutions for established projects looking for a better way to generate yield.

It’s time to melt your degen faces off 🫠
