We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Simplex to process Ethereum purchases on Vault!
Now, with just a few clicks, anyone can buy ETH and start using DApps in minutes right from inside the Vault app!
When we talk about dApps and NFT adoption, we spend a lot of time lamenting the barriers. At Vault, we began breaking down these roadblocks with our first release by making DApps just a click away on your mobile device, and by giving away collectibles so everyone could start to get a feel for the power of blockchain assets and utilities.
While we’re extremely proud of the strides we’ve made so far, the 250-lb gorilla in the room remained: if you don’t have any cryptocurrency, you can’t really DO much with DApps or collectibles.
But now, with the latest version of Vault being released to the app store today, anyone can click the new “BUY ETH” button right below your wallet balance to get started with a purchase via our partnership with Simplex.
Here’s how it works:
Just tell us how much ETH you want to buy (or how much USD you want to spend), and we’ll forward you along to Simplex to complete the transaction with your credit or debit card.
It’s that easy!
And that’s not all… this latest update to Vault also includes a number of bug fixes and feature enhancements, including securing your wallet with a PIN if you don’t have or can’t use Face/TouchID (but we still VERY MUCH recommend you secure your wallet with Face/TouchID), and making it easier to see your contacts’ NFTs right on their profiles.
