Linearity raises second financing round
Who are we
At Linearity we strongly believe that the iPad is the future of media production as well as consumption. With every release of a new iPad, we’re amazed by the capabilities, especially in terms of the 2018 iPad Pro. We are confident that iPads can eventually replace your computer completely. That’s why we’re working very hard on closing the gap between desktop graphic design software and Vectornator as an app on iPad. The future is closer than you think.
For the long run this is not enough though and we feel very strongly about creating an entire ecosystem for creative professionals. Organisations are increasingly lead by design and we want to revolutionize how teams work together and how art and graphics are created.
Investment
We are proud to announce that we’ve been able to close another financing round from leading angel investors.
We’re happy to have our existing investors lead by Philip Magoulas, Christian Siemoneit & Martin Sinner participate in this new round, but also are excited to welcome three new investors with experience building enduring companies and communities:
Chris Hitchen, Mirko Novakovic and Florian Leibert all have profound experience founding, building and investing in successful companies. We are looking forward to their involvement as we seek to realize our vision.
We’re also delighted to welcome Don Lindsay to our Advisory board. His background as an executive design leader at Apple, Microsoft and BlackBerry will be invaluable to Vectornator.
The Future

The next chapter of Vectornator will be focused entirely on providing you with an accelerated workflow and a top-notch user experience.
With our huge 2.4 update we brought live corners to the iPad making it possible to take illustrations to an entirely new level.
Not too long from now we will introduce Artboards and an advanced Width Tool to mobile.
We also know that many of you want to experience Vectornator on desktop.
