Creating Beautiful Professional Presentations

Imagine a situation: you are doing a presentation for your chef and honestly having bad times with it. In the specialized programs, there are usually hundreds of settings you know nothing about and actually, you don’t need most of them because they are making the designing process truly difficult 😓 As far as the main point of the presentation is to share the information, it should be simple yet stylish. So in this case, you can count on Vectr!I think you understand that if you are doing the presentation in the program for designing, your creation will look amazing!

Yes, Vectr is good not only for making 2D graphics but it is also helpful in many other tasks like designing beautiful professional presentations 😎 Moreover, with the help of the available tools, you can make it really simple, informative and unique.

However, in most cases, you don’t need a presentation if you don’t have a job, that’s why we decided to make the introduction to the presentation “How to make a successful career?” We hope that it will give you a push for climbing the career ladder 😉

So follow these steps to create the presentation others will definitely be fascinated by!

The First Slide

STEP 1

When creating the first slide, you have to show all your creativity as it is vitally important to evoke considerable interest. So first of all, choose a cool image for the background which will be suitable for adding some creative elements. You can import the picture in Vectr using the Upload Image button in the left toolbar. After importing, resize the image or adjust the canvas size.

STEP 2

Let’s now add some elements which will make your first slide bright! We use the Rectangle shape and create the bars of different colors and opacity.

STEP 3

Finally, add the title of your presentation and edit the text by choosing the font and colors in the right toolbar. If you have a look at the GIF below, you will see what you can do with the text.

Our most important slide is ready 🎉

The Second Slide

Step 1

You can add one more pages and it can serve as the next slide of your presentation. For that, you should go to the left toolbar and select Pages at the top of the page. Click Add page at the bottom and start designing the second slide.

As in the first slide, we choose a picture for a background that matches both the theme of our presentation and the style of all the other images you are going to use. Follow the same guideline to import it using the Upload button in the left toolbar. Be sure you set up the same size for every slide.

Step 2

To add some color to the slide we use the Rectangle shape which may be found in the left toolbar. The point is that we adjust and reshape it to make it suitable for the picture. It may be done by double-clicking the shape and moving it anchor points as it is shown in the GIF below.

In order to make our presentation unique, we decide «to play» with a palette of colors and opacity. Each slide has its own color range. Choose the best variant for you in the right toolbar in the Background and the Opacity sections.

Step 3

The next step is adding some information, for which we use the Text tool. You can place the text in different parts of your slide by selecting the text box and dragging it; you can also change the color of the text, its size, and the type of the font. Make your letters visible and readable and your audience will definitely enjoy your presentation!
