How To Create Gift And Award Certificates
Everyone enjoys the pleasant time of exploring malls, markets and small shops in a search of a special present which your friends, family members or co-workers will definitely like. However, sometimes the best way to share your love with the person is presenting a tiny fancy gift card. Let us explain why 😉
On the one hand, these gifts vouchers offer a choice. A person who recieves such a present is free to buy things they like most of all. It’s also great in such situations when you don’t know the person that good but you are invited to their birthday.
On the other hand, you can emphasize how well you know the person by giving a voucher for free hours in their favorite gym or hair salon: trust me, it will be greatly appreciated! 😎
So today we prepared a tutorial “How to Create Gift and Award Certificates” in Vectr for you to have the best designs.
STEP 1
We are beginning with setting up the size of the card. We would recommend you to set it to 795px x 375px because this dimensions measure up the size of an actual gift cards. When it’s done, you can set the background by using a rectangle shape and filling it with the color you wish. You can find a palette in the right toolbar in the Background section. We also used Linear Gradient to make it unusual. It will make your card look really sweet ☺️
STEP 2
Once your page is all set up, it is high time to draw the balloons. We made them with the help of the Vectr ellipse shape placed in the left toolbar and their size is 95рх х 143рх. To make them truly same just copy the first one made by pressing Ctrl+C on Windows or Cmd+C on Mac and paste with Ctrl+V/Cmd+V.
Then color the balloons by selecting it and setting their background color in the Background section as it shown on the GIF below.
STEP 3
Now stack them up and hide one behind another with the help of Workspace tools, which you’ll see once you have a balloon selected. *
STEP 4
The ropes of the balloons are created with the Pen and Grid tool which makes them straight and precise.
STEP 5
In order to create these white paths of reflected light on the balloons, we used Pencil tool which allows freehand drawing.
STEP 6
It is the right time to write your heartwarming wishes on the card! Vectr also allows you to change the font and color of the text. You can do it in the right section of your workspace when you have a textbox selected (we use Aladin font by the way)😉
STEP 7
Finally, finish the gift certificate with some decorative templates like hearts from the “More Shapes” section!
Since the background actually creates the atmosphere of an image, you can make the certificate more formal just by changing its background. You see, when it looks more reserved, it is perfect for your co-workers 😉
Now your gift card is created and looks great, so get ready for the enraptured “wows” and happy “awwwws”! 😋
