The world’s largest mobile industry gathering took place on 27 February — 2 March 2017 in Barcelona.
Mobile World Congress 2017 hosted over 108,000 attendees from 208 countries. 3,500 members of the international press and media covered the event.
VeeRoute, as a developer of mobile solutions for logistics, made sure to be present at the congress. Mike and Igor Kudinov, our CEO and CFO attended the 4 days event and represented VeeRoute alongside the other Skolkovo projects.
Company was looking to meet potential European partners, interested in logistics-related mobile technologies. Mike Kudinov noted a sensible interest of large vendors towards mobility in logistics, especially telematic devices and self-driving vehicle control systems. “Every other stand, including Mercedez, Audi, Bosch, displayed a car, loaded with a software and smart systems”, — says Mike.
Self-driving cars market is booming and we see VeeRoute developing the so ftware for this niche in the nearest future. VRt platform provides control and planning functions — the features relevant exactly for self-driving vehicles.
Mobile World Congress Americas debutes in San Francisco this September. It will highlight innovation in areas such as next-generation networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), the intersection of mobile with entertainment.
