A Transformative Journey with Veeva Hungary

Embarking on a career in the dynamic realm of technology is an exciting experience, especially when it involves a transformative program like Veeva’s Consultant Development Program. As I share my personal journey, I hope to shed light on the unique opportunities and enriching experiences that this program has brought into my life so far.
Discovering Veeva and its Vision
The way I found out about Veeva was through my uncle, who has been at the company for over 5 years now. He couldn’t stop telling me about how great the company and its employees were, so I knew I had to try to become a part of it. I started searching for career opportunities at Veeva and found out about the Consultant Development Program (CDP), which is designed for fresh graduates with an interest in technology and the life science industry. The program elements include amazing opportunities for both professional and personal development, so I eagerly applied.
The Application Process
The application process was rigorous yet insightful, reflecting Veeva’s dedication to recruiting top talent. The interviews and assessments not only evaluated technical skills but also emphasized problem-solving abilities with software solutions and a passion for learning. What I especially enjoyed about the application process was that it felt personal, which ensured that not only was I a good candidate for the job, but that the company would be a good match for me as well.
Early Days
Upon joining the Consultant Development Program, I found myself immersed in a stimulating learning environment with seven other new members of the Consultant Development Program from across Europe. At the time when we joined the onboarding week took place in Barcelona, where we immediately jumped into extending our knowledge about Veeva, the life sciences industry, and consulting.
During the onboarding week, all our coworkers made us feel welcome and they were excited to share their experiences at Veeva — whether they were about technical best practices, or just fun memories from the annual Generation Veeva Connect, which always involves traveling to an exciting place.
Immersive Learning Environment
After returning to Budapest, I soon realized how significant the learning element was for the program. From day one, I was encouraged to contribute to projects that had a real impact on Veeva’s clients. The emphasis on hands-on experience and problem-solving skills elevated the learning process, providing invaluable insights into the challenges faced by the life sciences industry. This immersive approach not only expanded my technical capabilities but also instilled a deeper understanding of how to apply them effectively in a professional setting. Seeing the tangible results of our efforts was immensely gratifying and reinforced my commitment to contributing meaningfully to the field. The collaborative and forward-thinking atmosphere continuously makes each day a dynamic and enriching experience within the Veeva community.
Collaborative Culture
One of the highlights of my experience is the collaborative culture at Veeva. The emphasis on teamwork and knowledge sharing creates an environment where every idea is welcomed, and diverse perspectives are valued. It is also amazing to see how approachable and helpful all Veeva employees are, no matter how senior they are in their roles.
Regular team-building activities, such as escape rooms add a personal touch to the professional journey, creating lasting connections with colleagues who share a common passion for making a difference.
