Introduction: vegan.nate
Hi everyone!
My name is Nate, I’m a 24 year old guy from Melbourne, Australia.
I’ve currently been living on a vegan diet now for around six months and have been enjoying the journey! Although there has had quite a few ups and downs along the way. I have been tested physically and mentally during the process of switching to the diet. My belief structures surrounding meat, diary, protein, weight management and whether or not I can have a great body on a vegan diet have all been significantly pressured.
I’m starting this blog on Medium because I want to undertake a journey and be able to document and share my progression with others.
I have always had a keen interest in health and fitness, especially going to the gym; which i have been doing on and off for the past few years. I have, however, never really applied myself consistently. I have lacked drive and motivation which has lead to short-lived results. I’ve fluctuated between interest and disinterest in training too many times. I want to fight back! I want to show myself and others who doubt me, that i can develop a great body and a great lifestyle on a vegan diet.

But this is just the beginning! As I move forward on this journey, I am going to be uploading regular blog posts documenting my physical progress. I will be posting weigh ins, progress pictures, inspirational quotes (for myself) and workout routines.
The main goal that I have for my body whilst training is to reach my target weight of 80kg. I am curently sitting around 71–72 ish kg’s, and this is a decrease from pre-vegan lifestyle weight which was about 75kg’s. I have always stuggled to put on weight, but I am going to work hard to actively seek and try ways of increasing my weight in a healthy manner.
I will also be posting content regarding all things Vegan! (News, Products, My diet changes, meal plans etc.)
