VeganNation in Sofia and beyond!
Proving that the VeganNation crosses geographical boundaries, we took VN on the road to two conferences this week.
First, we were at Total Liberation Fest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel, which you can read about here from our correspondent Inbar Mileikoewsky. Then we really hit the road — or rather, the air! — heading to Sofia, Bulgaria, an emerging Euro-tech capital, where Yael Tamar spoke on a panel at the NextBlock conference, talking to innovators and industry leaders from across Europe.
She told the audience about VeganNation and how the upcoming VeganCoin ICO is uniting vegans all from all over the worldwide global community of 300–500 million people. This makes sense to people — they know they’re going to have more purchasing power if they capitalize on the social capital of the community.”
“These projects are few and far between,” she said.
The big idea behind VeganNation makes it stand out in an industry where players are often there only to make as much money as possible as quickly as possible — while VeganNation is presenting a viable long-term vision for the planet. “They’re investing in the future… One of the biggest goals is promoting healthy, ecological, sustainable lifestyles.”
We also touched base with the local vegan community; hopefully we’ll report back soon on some of the great dining options in this laid-back, vegan-friendly city.
