🚨 New markets

We just listed new markets available to trade on Veil:

You can see all open markets by visiting the Veil homepage or by browsing particular channels, like sports or entertainment.

Simpler order form

We’re in the process of revamping our order form and market pages. As a first step towards that goal, we now let you specify an ETH amount you want to spend when making an order instead of a number of shares. Try it out by taking a position on Ethereum’s Constantinople fork or any open market. Stay tuned for more order UX improvements…

Growing the Veil team

Last week we announced that we’re hiring and looking to grow the Veil team. We’re specifically looking for senior software engineers and someone to take on Chief of Staff responsibilities—everything from product to business development with market makers. Review the full role specs here, and please reach out to hello@veil.co if interested.

Off-chain trading blog post

Graham from our team published a blog post covering off-chain trading with Augur and 0x. The piece is a deep-dive into how Veil shares liquidity between long (yes) and short (no) order books. We’d recommend also reading our overview of Augur market economics as background.

Best performers from last week

Congratulations to @g_dip (+44.9%), @veil (+44.8%), @calchulus (+42%), @Andrew (+40%), and @thomas (+36%) for topping last week’s leaderboard. Note: @veil has no affiliation with Veil, the company. See the full leaderboard.
