Don’t Just Import It…Velourit!
Automated Supply Chain for the Import/Export Industry
Why the change? For more than five years, the company Velour Imports has seen phenomenal opportunities. Born from coincidence, an opportunity to import wine from Argentina into the states, the export management company Velour Imports grew from one idea and then, on its own, turned into a digital marketplace and distribution platform right before my eyes.
Over the years we built an extensive network in the global community. We got to know the players and how they play the game but it seemed as though something was always missing. You might say the company lacked that certain je ne sais quoi…we forgot who we were and why we started this in the first place.
My motivation and inspiration behind Velour Imports, our mission before and now is the same. To enhance the prosperity of those who dare to dream of being more than what they are today. I started this business because I knew I was meant for more. Brooke Sinclair was not meant to live the corporate lifestyle from 9-to-5. Even with flexible hours. Don’t think of this as closing one company for another. Think of this as the elevation of a world-class brand.
VelourIt for all your import needs. Translated the slogan “Don’t Just Import It, VelourIt!” means why import it yourself when you can VelourIt? VelourIt intends on being Latin America’s #1 site for simplified importing goods. Beginning with the Caribbean’s Community Based Tourism (CBT) and Resilience projects. In the next five years, VelourIt will be the Caribbean’s one-stop-online shop for value-added food & beverages to resale in Latin America’s private luxury market.
A deeper commitment to playing a role in increasing international distribution for the underdog. Historically underestimated independently-owned manufacturers like breweries, distillers, vineyards, and more. Especially those companies started and operated by, people of color, allies, and members of the LGBTQIA. Black men and women, minorities, and persons suffering from disabilities.
The small business owners are struggling for the survival of their businesses as a result of quarantine from the global pandemic. Our business is now, as it was before, focused on supporting the livelihood of the small business owner and a simplified Import/Export process is going to help us do that.
The simplified Import/Export process increases margins on high-priced luxury goods for resale to their customers. We save Importers/Distributors, Directors of Food & Beverage, and Procurement Buyers both time and money. We give them the information they need to know upfront. You spend less time searching for and qualifying, brands, products, or styles because we’ve done all the work for you. It’s importing, but it’s importing made easy. Made easy with VelourIt.
