Yes we announced our first Venmeet, yes we said it would be worth attending, but the “awesomeness” that was the eventual event ? pricessless, even we were overwhelmed with how great it turned out.
Any unrest caused by news of our rebranding was put to bed when we showed how true we are to our roadmap by displaying progress in developing our flagship product, Havene.
Havene is a cryptocurrency exchange which we aim to make a onestop shop for cryptocurrency trading in Africa and the rest of the world. Its unique in that it will accept fiat deposit from most African countries and will trade not just Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash and Ethereum, which are mostly the only ones being traded by African exchanges or escrow services, but more coins like stellar, Litecoin and many others. Havene will also have a mobile app called Nitro which will allow features such as insta-buy and insta-sell.
We pride ourselves on creating products that are clean, beautiful, safe and user friendly and Havene is no exception. We accepted the community’s inputs and obtained their approval of our decisions thus far.
And then the fun began, each startup present came up and presented their blockchain products,
after which everyone would ask questions,
criticize and if possible make suggestions to help better their product.
In some cases one company’s product offered solutions to the problems being faced by yet another startup present at our Venmeet.
The discuss was intellectual and yet fun as each startup threw payful jabs at the other’s product all the while still encouraging its brilliance and offering help.
Being a company that places emphasis on exposure and enlightenment, our Venmeet was a success, because our community that day obtained more Knowledge than we as a company could have ever offered them all on our own.
We cooled off from all the brainstorming with food, drinks and a round of the video of the video game “Injustice 2”. It was “ Intellectually — fun” ( lol, yes i know, i just invented a compound word ) and now I find it hard keeping still, counting the days to the next #Venmeet :).
