Ventech is looking for a Communication Coordinator

Ventech is looking for a new team member ready to help us develop our communication activities towards the tech ecosystem as well as the financial investors’ community, globally.

Diversified missions, based in Paris with regular trips to our two other geographies in Europe (Germany and the Nordics) :

Content

• With the assistance of the partners, coordinate media content production and thought leadership blogging (including newsletters)

• Maintain social media presence and drive engagement & growth

• Support portfolio companies if needed and assist with PR when necessary (e.g. press releases and funding announcements)

• Lead the evolution of Ventech websites (Ventech Europe & Ventech China)

Events

• Coordinate and lead Ventech European events organization : Meet-ups with entrepreneurs in France, Germany and the Nordics — CEOs Annual Meeting — Ventech LP Annual Meeting

• Monitor the tech ecosystem for relevant third-party events and speaking opportunities

Investor relations

• Assist the team’s fundraising activities : roadshow coordination around major investors-oriented events, casual travelling and fundraising efforts

• Potential collaboration on Ventech China’s fundraising efforts

• Maintain consistent communication towards existing and prospective investors — including fund materials; team & portfolio news; latest content; and invitations to events

• Assist Ventech’s CFO in the production of the quarterly financial reports

Data & database

• Ensure the presence of Ventech in all important Databases

• Gather engagement and other data from all marketing activities (events, social media, website, etc.) and produce monthly reports

• Work on continuously developing media contacts database

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 to 4 years of working experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (past experience as tech blogger/ journalist a strong plus)
• Being a native speaker in English a very strong plus
• Passion for technology and start-ups
• An engaged social media user, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Medium.
• A self-starter mentality with a proactive approach
• Creative and innovative mindset, able to grasp opportunities and take initiative in executing on them
• And finally — and most importantly — a fun, passionate, and curious personality!
