At White Star, we have backed a number of leading start-ups at the Series A and Series B stages globally, including the likes of Freshly, Tier Mobility, Dollar Shave Club, Clark Insurance and Butternut Box. In Europe over the last few years, we have continued our focus on the UK and doubled down on France and Germany. We are now actively looking to ramp up our team in London.
We are looking to hire a talented individual as an analyst to support us on sourcing, thought leadership, due diligence, investment decision making and fundraising initiatives.
This will be a paid 2 year role based in London working with our Early Growth Fund, which is focused on Series A and B start-ups, with potential to continue at White Star Capital based on performance. After the program, we will also do our best to support you with your future endeavours in the ecosystem.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- Preparing to graduate/recently graduated from an undergraduate degree
- A high level of intellectual curiosity and self-starter mindset
- A demonstrable passion in start-ups, venture capital or entrepreneurship
- Collaborative and communicative
- An additional European language would be welcomed but not required
