VGG’s Quality Analyst Team Excels at Facebook’s Testathon

Once again, VGG has proven that we don’t just offer innovative, data-driven, end-to-end technology platforms but we also have some of the best human resource and value creators in the world. This was exhibited at the just concluded Testathon (an hackathon for testers) organised by Global App Testing Team in collaboration with Facebook where 50 of the best testers were selected from around the country.

As expected, the whole Software Quality Assurance team of VGG and even some of our developers were selected as part of the 50 best testers in the country and claimed eight (8) of the fifty slots (50).TheTestathon was held on Sunday,26th of June at the Andela office, Yaba and started around 9 am . During the Testathon, the software testers and QA Engineers were expected to test Facebook Apps to not just find bugs but also provide insights as to ways Facebook could improve their apps to suit Nigeria and her people.

The VGG team did not just participate but won the most number of prizes than any other company which brought a lot of attention to VGG. The members of the Quality Assurance team won the following prizes:

Best QA Prize — Boluwatife Dada

Best Quality Bug Report Prize — Bukola Aborode

Best Runner-up Engagement Insight Prize — Mujidat Alabi

Best Team (Round 2) Prize — Tomi Okuboyejo
