Who you listen to matters a lot in your life. It can affect your mood, your mindset, your actions, and your results.

Think about it. ‘cos I too am thinking it as I pen this down.

Who are you listening to today?

What are you feeding your mind with today?

Will those words build you up or tear down your resolve to win?

Maybe you are reading a book that inspires you, challenges you, or teaches you something new.

Maybe you are listening to a mentor, a pastor, a business guru, or someone who has achieved what you want to achieve.

Maybe you are listening to yourself, your inner voice, your intuition, or your faith.

Or maybe you are listening to someone who discourages you, criticises you, or makes you doubt yourself.

Maybe you are listening to the news, the media, the social media, or the gossip.

Maybe you are listening to the noise, the distractions, the excuses, or the fears.

Who are you listening to?

You see, the words you listen to have power to influence your thoughts, feelings, decisions, and actions.

The words you listen to can either help you or hurt you.

They can either lift you up or pull you down.

They can either empower you or limit you.

They can either make you grow or make you shrink.

They can either make you happy or make you sad.

They can either make you succeed or make you fail.

So be careful who you listen to. Be selective, be discerning, be wise. Learn to listen and filter.

Listen to the words that are true, helpful, positive, and constructive.

Filter out the words that are false, harmful, negative, and destructive.

Listen to the words that align with your goals, values, and vision.

Filter out the words that contradict your goals, values, and vision.

Listen to the words that encourage, support, and motivate you.

Filter out the words that discourage, undermine, and demotivate you.

Listen to the words that make you better, stronger, and smarter.

Filter out the words that make you worse, weaker, and dumber.

Listen to the words that make you smile, laugh, and enjoy.

Filter out the words that make you frown, cry, and suffer.

Listen to the words that make you win, not the words that make you lose.

I hope you found it useful. If you did, please let me know by replying. I would love to hear from you.

Until next time, stay awesome and keep listening to the right voice.
