Venture University Launches Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator Program
Venture University (VU), the world’s leading investor accelerator for venture capital, private equity, and angel investing, is thrilled to announce the successful launch of its highly anticipated Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator, which is a triple certificate program that includes a robust Education Program (a two week Masterclass, Advanced Modules, and weekly Fireside Chats) combined with an Investment Apprenticeship Program to provide in-depth experiential learning where each cohort makes 1–2 real estate investments per quarter and individuals receive a profit sharing agreement to share in the financial upside on the investments made.
The program was designed for individuals looking to launch their careers at all levels within the real estate private equity and REIT industry as well as to advance individuals currently operating in the real estate industry to support their direct investments into real estate properties and/or real estate funds.
VU’s Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator is an 11 week program (~3 months) and the inaugural Cohort 1 session launched this Summer on June 12th, 2023 with 7 selected cohort members. The program has been met with resounding success, empowering aspiring individuals to break into the dynamic realms of Real Estate Private Equity and REITs.
Due to overwhelming demand Venture University will be accepting a larger number of participants for Cohort 2 of the Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator and adding in the opportunity for cohort members to join the program for 3–12 months to build a larger track record by making up to 6 real estate investments.
Some of the individuals in Cohort 1 have already selected to join the Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator for 12 months and others have selected to do the Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator for six months and then do Venture University’s Venture Capital Investor Accelerator for six months in order to gain in-depth knowledge and high quality investment experience in both the real estate and venture capital asset classes.
Cohort 2 of the Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator will launch on Monday, October 16th and go until Friday, December 29th, 2023. After being admitted into the program individuals will join VU’s real estate private equity investment team at VU Capital Partners as part of the Investment Apprenticeship program and focus on a subvertical of their choosing, such as residential real estate, commercial real estate, industrial real estate, etc. During each quarter cohort members will focus on deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, investment evaluation, presenting their top real estate opportunities during weekly Partner Meetings, participate in Management Meetings, and present and participate on the Investment Committee.
VU’s Real Estate Private Equity & REIT Investor Accelerator is taught by industry experts with over 50+ years of real estate investment experience, who have invested over $7+ billion dollars, and have served in senior executive leadership roles within some of the largest real estate investment funds in the world, including Brookfield Properties, Avalon Bay, Yarmouth Group, and leading Goldman Sachs Global REIT fund.
