What’s New?

We’re all familiar with Siri, but now she has some new tricks. Siri is now able to respond to requests like, “Show me pictures from Phil about the trip to New York.” Siri will then deliver results based on the request.

Another thing you can say is, “Siri, show me the files I’ve looked at this week.” and she may show you

files you have received from your friends and family members. You can get even more specific by saying, “Just the ones Marc sent me.” and Siri will further refine her results to just show you the ones from Marc. Siri is also able to send messages through you Mac. You can say, “Send Julia a message saying, where should we eat tonight?” She will then communicate to your iPhone to send the message.

Since Apple is now opening Siri up to Developers, there are so many more potential functions for Siri. In the future, Siri might be more of a competitor to Google Now.

Let us know what you think about Siri being on MacOS in the comments.
