Apple Music and Sonos launch collaborative ad campaign

Apple Music and Sonos have teamed up to give you a new music listening experience.

The campaign is meant to shine light on research sonos has done that has shown music to have a positive effect on people’s lives.The survey discovered music benefits sexual activity, relationship satisfaction, mood, happiness and other metrics. The company invited 30 families to participate in a study where the forbade any music listening in the house for one week. After the one week period was over, the families were reintroduced to music via Apple Music playing through a SONOS system.

The participants were given an Apple Watch along with an iPhone 6S to monitor their heart rate, motion, and other activity. Nest camera’s and Apple iBeacons were placed in the house to monitor in-house movement. Sonos also monitored the music being playing through the system to monitor what song was being played at what volume. The data was compiled and released on Sonos’s Tumblr page in short videos, pictures, and gifs for the public to view.

This campaign marks the beginning of a partnership long awaited from many iTunes and Apple Music customers. Here’s a short video from Sonos:
